Just who is Monique?Well let me see if I can't clear
that up! On one of my former bass players falls from
grace(I'll Tell ya'll the story of Grace another
time..)
any how Bill,at the time was a resident in very good
standing,or sitting for that mater,thank you very
much!
at the old Nites Inn, up on High&I do mean high-way 99
One afternoon I stoped by like I sometimes did with
a few 40's(old english)to shoot the breeze.So were
sittin around the small formica table thats provided
eating below-knee sandwitches and drinkin beers
when there's a polite knock at the door of old #214
and a soft voice comming from outside"Oh Billll,
Oh Billll,Bassman moves swiftly,(well as swiftly as a
big man can)to the door and opens it cautiously,oh
Monique come on in....Monique is a girl who lives or
should I say worked nextdoor,I belive she said she
was in the sevrvice industry ,any how it seams the
nite
before there was a not so polite knock at Bill's door
it was a large angry gent looking for some one named
yes,you guest it ,Monique,something about having his
money
and to this day I think ,The Bassman Walkin still
keeps
in touch with her,but to be sure about that point
you'll
have to ask him! I have many such tails ,but the'll
have
to be sanctioned befor they can be told.Bill an I
often
talk about Monique and her friends,but know i'm the
only one drinkin 40's...........
